June Garafano, SPHR, Client Services Director

June-Ann Garafano is a respected consultant to senior management in the areas of organizational effectiveness and human resource strategies. A human resource executive with more than 21 years experience, June-Ann combines the knowledge of a hands-on human resources professional with that of a senior level business executive.

June-Ann joined PROXUS in March of 2003 and currently serves as the senior Client Services Director. In this capacity she provides both strategic leadership and tactical management and support to the human resource department for multiple clients. In addition, she is a key resource to PROXUS staff and responsible for developing service standards and protocols in support of our client service teams.

June-Ann works closely with client management teams to develop and implement innovative human resource programs in such areas as leadership development, change management, compensation and benefits, employee relations and recognition, staffing and selection, and regulatory compliance.

An accomplished HR practitioner, June-Ann's problem solving acumen, superior interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities have been essential to her successful leadership of project engagements ranging from conducting comprehensive audits of client HR functions to facilitating management training programs and preparing a large healthcare client for and leading it through the HR segment of a critical accreditation process.

June-Ann enjoyed a successful, progressive human resources career in the industries of healthcare, banking and insurance. Prior to joining PROXUS she was responsible for overseeing the human resources function for approximately 800 employees within a business unit of a large regional healthcare organization. In this role she served as a key contributor to the HR management and the organization¥s leadership teams.

June-Ann holds a master's degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University and a bachelor's degree in Psychology/Business from Muhlenberg College. June-Ann is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

In addition to her career in human resources, June-Ann is also an active member of the South Jersey SHRM Chapter, serves as a Business Volunteer for the Arts with the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Arts and Business Council and volunteers her time whenever possible with several community organizations.
